According to a report by the Mooning Journal, on Sunday an 8-year-old boy took his 4-year-old sister to McDonald’s by driving her himself, after she supposedly said she wanted a cheeseburger.
According to officers, the boy went to YouTube and looked up how to drive. When he felt like he had the basic idea, he just grabbed his father’s car keys, some cash from his piggy bank, and drove off. Employees told that when the kids pulled up in the drive-thru window, they were certain they were being pranked.
After driving downtown East Palestine without incident, following all the rules of the road perfectly. The boy’s parents were sleeping at the time, and his grandparents were called to the McDonald’s to pick him up.
The boy did end up getting his cheeseburger, and officers chose not to press charges.
