Luis Fonsi and Dady Yankee’s mega-hit Despacito has become the most viewed YouTube video of all time in only seven months since it was published. It has 3,000,327,290 views at the moment of writing. That also means it is the first video ever to reach 3 billion views on Google’s video platform.
This is actually the second record set for the most-viewed YT video this month. A couple days ago, Wiz Khalifa’s See You Again stole the title from Psy’s Gangnam Style, after the South Korean singer has been holding it since 2012.
Despacito has already broken the record for the most-streamed track ever earlier this month and it doesn’t seem like the trend will stop soon.
