Employee Punches his Manager the First Day on the Job

Police say a 20-year-old fast food worker is set to appear in court next month after a bad first day on the job, where he was arrested for punching his employer.

According to the department, on Saturday officers were called to a fast food restaurant in Barrie, Ontario to investigate a reported fight between a new employee and his manager.

Investigators say the employee had only just started the job earlier that day and was being trained by the store manager. Allegedly, the restaurant manager was punched in the face when correcting the new employee during his training.

The assailant then reportedly fled the restaurant before police arrived and the manager was treated for minor injuries. He turned himself in on Sunday and is charged with assault.
