Gerard Butler confirmes he is well and fit to shoot his next project after motorcycle accident

47-year-old Gerard Butler was taken to hospital following a motorcycle accident earlier this month.

It was confirmed that Butler was riding his motorcycle in Los Angeles, California and was cut off by another vehicle causing him to crash. After paramedics arrived at the scene, Butler was taken to hospital and received treatment.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Butler said he was lucky to come out of the scary event with only a fractured foot and a few bruises, since the crash sent him “flying through the air” and could have “taken him out.” The actor added that the crash has given him a whole new perspective saying that It “made [him] really appreciate how precious life is.”

Butler added that while he cannot remember the incident well, the only thing going through his mind was whether he’d be well enough to film his new movie. However, the actor already confirmed that despite his injuries he is well enough to shoot his next project.

The actor was looking healthy when he stepped out publicly for the first time since the crash on Monday for the premiere of his new film Geostorm in LA.
