“GLOW”: Netflix Renews Women’s Wrestling Comedy For Season 2

The 1980s wrestling comedy GLOW has been renewed for a second 10-episode season.

Jenji Kohan, the executive producer of GLOW, is also the name behind the hit series Orange is the New Black.

GLOW is inspired by a show from the ’80s. It’s set in 1985 L.A. and follows Ruth Wilder, who’s a struggling actress who eventually gets to be on the TV’s first women’s wrestling show.

GLOW is one of four Netflix comedies to debut this year and get another season. The other three are One Day at a TimeSanta Clarita Diet, and Dear White People.
