Halle Berry took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce publicly her relationship with British music producer Alex Da Kid. She shared a photo of herself and Da Kid with caption, “My balance,” which the producer also posted on his social media accounts.
According to E! News, the couple has been together for two months.
“They have been seeing each other for about two months and met through friends in the industry,” the source said.
This is the first time that the 51-year-old actress has shared a new man in her life since her final divorce from French actor Olivier Martinez in Dec. 2016. Berry filed for divorce from the actor in Oct. 2015 after two years of marriage and the pair released a joint statement about their separation. They have a 3-year-old son together named Maceo.
“It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce,” read the statement. “We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus of what is best for our son. We wish each other nothing but happiness in life and we hope that you respect our and, most importantly, our children’s privacy as we go through this difficult period.”
Berry also has a 9-year-old daughter, Nahla, with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.
