Looks like good news for Hannibal fans! Finally, two year after the final airing of season 3, talks of a revival are underway. The movie’s executive director, Bryan Fuller, said that his fellow executive producer has “started conversations” about a revival.
However, this will take some time. The NBC show has been off the air since the 3rd season finale aired in August 2015. This long wait was somewhat explained back in June 2016, when Fuller told Collider that they felt that they need the time to really understand what is right for the story and for the characters.
Fuller added that the they are excited about the possibility that Hannibal would return to the small screen. He added that he’s had a great idea for a forth season of the show saying that he believes that “there’s an interesting next chapter in the relationship between Will Graham and Hannibal Lecter that would be fascinating to unpack. I’ve shared it with the gentlemen and they’re both keen on it.”
