Jennifer Lawrence On Darren Aronofsky and “Passengers” Reviews

Jennifer Lawrence talks about her life so far on Vogue September 2017 issue. The 26-year-old actress opened up for the first time about her relationship with Darren Aronofsky.

As Lawrence told the magazine, they started dating after the two wrapped filming on the movie Mother!

“When I saw the movie, I was reminded all over again how brilliant he is,” she said referring to her boyfriend, adding that he is an “amazing father” to the child he shares with actress Rachel Weisz.

“We had energy,” she said. “I had energy for him. I don’t know how he felt about me.”

“I’ve been in relationships before where I am just confused,” Lawrence admitted. “And I’m never confused with him.”

The Oscar winner also tackles Aronofsky’s Ivy League education. “I normally don’t like Harvard people, because they can’t go two minutes without mentioning that they went to Harvard,” she noted. “He’s not like that.”

When asked about the poor reviews of Passengers, Lawrence agreed with others who thought the movie should have started with her character waking up, instead of Chris Pratt’s.

“I’m disappointed in myself that I didn’t spot it,” she said. “I thought the script was beautiful—it was this tainted, complicated love story. It definitely wasn’t a failure. I’m not embarrassed by it by any means. There was just stuff that I wished I’d looked into deeper before jumping on.”

Fans are also intrigued about the secret movie she and her friend Amy Schumer are working on together. Lawrence said they have been meeting with directors but there’s still not a lot confirmed about their project.

She said the plot is about “dysfunctional twins. But it’s sad. Then funny.”

Vogue’s 125th Anniversary Collector’s Edition will be out on August 22.
