Lena Dunham reveals that she is working on a new TV show with Jenni Konner

The 2-year celebrations of Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner’s Lenny Letter, an online publication the two founded together brought about extra exciting news for Dunham’s fans. During the celebratory cocktail party which was thrown at the Jane Hotel in New York City the Girls creator and showrunner revealed that they are already working on a new television show.

Since Girls aired its series finale in April, the two women were asked if it’s weird that for the first time in six years they weren’t getting ready to work on a new season of the show.

46-year-old Konner told reporters that “it has been weird and kind of hard to get out of bed, but Lenny helps us through that and we’re now working on a new show,” to which 31-year-old Dunham added, “we’re back in business.”

Dunham was pretty tight-lipped when it came the questions what should viewers expect of her new project. She did, however, tell reporters that even though she “can’t say anything right now… you’ll definitely see some more awkward situations and people showing their darker selves.”
