Pauley Perrette confirms she’s leaving “NCIS” after 15 seasons

Pauley Perrette is saying her goodbyes and leaving NCIS after 15 seasons.

The actress who played Abby took to Twitter on Wednesday to confirm that she’s leaving ABC’s hit show after 15 seasons. Perrette starred as the fan favorite character since the show began in 2003.

“So, it is true that I am leaving NCIS after this season,” she wrote in her Twitter statement. Then she jokingly addressed the false rumors going around as to why she was leaving the show writing, “(NO I DON’T HAVE A SKIN CARE LINE AND NO MY NETWORK AND SHOW ARE NOT MAD AT ME!)”

She went on to explain that her decision has been in the works for a while.

“It was a decision made last year. I hope everyone will love and enjoy EVERYTHING ABBY not only for the rest of this season but for everything she has given all of us for 16 years,” she wrote. “All the love, all the laughter, all the inspiration… I love her as much as you do.”

With Perrette bidding adieu to NCIS, only two original cast members will remain – Mark Harmon and David McCallum.
