Robin Thicke’s girlfriend, April Love Geary, took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal that they are expecting their first child together. TMZ reports that the 22-year-old model is three months pregnant and expecting a baby girl.
“Robin and I are very excited to share with you all that we’re having a baby! The due date is March 1st, Alan’s birthday! ❤️,” April wrote alongside a black-and-white sonogram photo.
Robin’s father, Alan Thicke, died on Dec. 13, 2016 after suffering a heart attack while playing hockey with his son Carter Thicke, according to E! News.
At the time, the 40-year-old singer posted on Instagram a touching tribute to his father, writing, “My father passed away today. He was the best man I ever knew. The best friend I ever had. Let’s all rejoice and celebrate the joy he brought to every room he was in. We love you Alan Thicke. Thank you for your love. Love, your grateful son.”
Robin and April made their first public appearance as a couple in May 2015 in Cannes. In an interview with E! News in 2015, Alan gave April his approval, saying, “She’s lovely. [He has an] album coming out and April is there and supportive… We like her a lot.”
The “Blurred Lines” singer is also a father to 7-year-old son Julian Thicke, whom she shares with ex-wife Paula Patton.
