Another exciting TV reunion and a possible reboot!
16 years after the show’s finale, the cast of the UPN sitcom reunited on The Real. Moesha aired from 1996 to 2001 and followed Brandy’s character as she navigated family and teenage life in Los Angeles.
After so many years, several cast members found it hard to hold back their emotions, saying that it was “a great moment.” Brandy couldn’t help but tear up reuniting with Sheryl Lee Ralph, Shar Jackson, Countess Vaughn, William Allen Young, Marcus T. Paulk and Ray J.
“This is beautiful. This is God. This is love. This is everything. Thank you guys so much for this moment.”
The enthusiastic reunion made it seem the show’s cast couldn’t be more on board for a possible reboot.
“We ended on a cliff,” Brandy explained and added that “would love to resolve” the fate of the show’s characters. “Miles [Moesha’s brother] was kidnapped, [and] we don’t know who’s pregnant. I was very, very disappointed with how the show ended,” Brandy revealed she still gets questions from fans about the fate of the show’s characters. When asked about the possibly of a reboot Brandy said that is could be “awesome.”
