This exciting project is based on a comic book series of the same name, and it centers on Sabrina Spellman. This teenage witch finds herself at a crossroads just in time for her 16th birthday. Will she pick the witch world of her family or the human world of her friends?
We’ll have to wait a little bit longer to find out, since Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina won’t premiere until October 26th. Netflix nailed it once again and found a perfect date to release one of their shows. What a better way to welcome Halloween than watch a teen witch getting into magical shenanigans with her friends?
Judging by the new trailer Sabrina’s new journey will be much creepier than the one we watched throughout our childhood. She’ll be played by Kiernan Shipka, who proved her worth with breakout role in Mad Men.
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa serves as showrunner of this teen fantasy drama. He was also in charge of creating its companion piece Riverdale, which takes place in the same fictional universe.
