It’s always heartbreaking to see your favorite TV shows go, and we’ve waved goodbye to quite a few throughout 2023. From HBO’s award-winning satire Succession to Netflix’s beloved coming-of-age series S-x Education, here are five shows that ended their run this year.
Succession
Over the course of the past four seasons, Succession saw members of the Roy family fight for control over their media conglomerate Waystar RoyCo, and the final chapter was the wildest one yet.
The Great
Hulu delivered a huge shocker when they decided to cancel the historical satire The Great, which offered a humorous take on Catherine the Great’s rise to power in the Russian Empire.
Reservation Dogs
FX delivered one of the best shows about the Indigenous community with Reservation Dogs, which chronicled the journey of four teens doing whatever it takes to save enough money to leave their small town for California.
Barry
Bill Hader’s crime comedy took us on a mind-blowing journey alongside its titular hero Barry Berkman, a depressed hitman who decides to start a new life after joining an acting class.
S-x Education
Netflix has given us one of the most poignant teen dramas in recent years with S-x Education, and its fourth and final season wrapped up the journey of our favorite characters, starting with Otis, Eric, and Maeve.
