“A Quiet Place 2” to Premiere Earlier

There’s a new release date for the sci-fi thriller.

Paramount has reshuffled its premieres’ board once again, following its rescheduling of Sonic the Hedgehog.

According to multiple sources, the sequel to A Quiet Place has been moved ahead by two months and will debut on March 20, 2020, instead of May 15, 2020.

The first feature followed an isolated family of four that must live in silence while hiding from creatures that hunt by sound. It starred John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe, who are also set to reprise their roles for the sequel. They will be joined by newcomer Cillian Murphy.

The horror-thriller is directed by Krasinski who also penned the screenplay with Bryan Woods and Scott Beck.

The original was a sleeper hit grossing $188 million domestically and $340.9 million worldwide.
