Aaron Henandez, the former New England Patriots football player, died after hanging himself in prison.

Hernandez was found on Wednesday morning in his cell at Souza Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley Mass, as reported by the Massachusetts Department of Corrections’ statement.

He was serving a life sentence for murdering football player Odin Lloyd in 2013.

Aaron Henandez, the former New England Patriots football player, died after hanging himself in prison.
