Abby Lee Miller to return to “Dance Moms”

Despite the turbulence, 2018 is ending on a positive note for Abby Lee Miller. 

The dance instructor turned reality star making a comeback and will reprise her role as the choreographer on Lifetime’s Dance Moms

53-year-old Miller confirmed the news on her Instagram on Friday. 

“OMG! Can you believe I’m going to film Season 8 of Dance Moms! Yes, it’s official! We begin the end of Jan!” she wrote alongside a snap of herself. 

Miller’s return to the popular Lifetime reality series comes after a rough year, which included incarceration for fraud and a cancer diagnosis, both which ended her successful 7-year-long stint on the series.

Miller is known for her extra harsh tactics no-nonsense approach. Maddie Zielgler is Miller’s biggest breakout star, who was on the show from 2011 until 2016. She gained fame after her memorable appearance on several music videos including Sia’s “Chandelier” and “Elastic Heart.”
