The third season of Abbott Elementary is just a week away, and ABC is doing a great job building hype for its premiere. The first trailer for the show’s next chapter is finally here, and it reveals what awaits us behind the doors of Abbott Elementary in Season 3.

Quinta Brunson is back as our favorite happy-go-lucky teacher Janine Teagues, and she’s still trying to get over her crush on Gregory (Tyler James Williams). She’s not the only one who’ll have a lot going on in Season 3—Ava (Janelle James) attended a course at Harvard over the summer, and her attempts to be a good principal are only making things worse for everyone at Abbott.

Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti, William Stanford Davis, and Sheryl Lee Ralph will also return to their respective roles, and they’ll be joined by several new cast members.

Josh Segarra (The Other Two), Kimia Behpoornia (Hacks), and Benjamin Norris (Never Have I Ever) were announced as the latest additions to the cast earlier this week, and they’ll join the series as three good-natured Philadelphia school district representatives trying to make a difference at Abbott.

Season 3 of Abbott Elementary will feature 14 episodes and it will kick off with a two-episode premiere on February 7.
