Production on the Maleficent sequel is set being in 2018.
The film will star Angelina Jolie in the title role alongside Elle Fanning. Also attached to the project are Michelle Pfeiffer, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Ed Skrein.
Variety now reports of a casting addition with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them actress Jenn Murray also on board to star in the on-screen fairy tale.
In October of last year, it was confirmed that Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ Joachim Ronning was tapped to direct the Disney feature.
It is unknown if the sequel will follow the first movie that was based on the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty. The original told the story of an evil fairy who cursed a young princess to eternal sleep, only to later realize the princess was the only one who could save the kingdom from its dangerous ruler.
Maleficent was a box office hit making $758.5 million worldwide.
It is unknown what role Murray is attached to play.
