“ALF” TV Reboot in the Works at Warner Bros.

The reboot trend is still going strong.

It looks like ALF is returning to Earth with a new reboot of the classic sitcom in development at Warner Bros.

The original show aired from 1986-1990 for four seasons and over 100 episodes on NBC and followed ALF (Alien Life Form) of the planet Melmac who crash lands in the suburbs and takes up residence with the middle-class Tanner family. ALF was performed by puppeteer Fusco, with Max Wright, Anne Schedeen, Andrea Elson and Benji Gregory rounding out the cast.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, no writer is yet attached to the project as the project is in very early stages of development. Some speculate that the reboot will focus on ALF returning to Earth, with a new family and characters.
