Billy Bob Thornton’s Billy McBride will be back for another season.
Just over a month after season 3 made its debut on the streaming platform, Amazon has renewed Goliath for a fifth and final season.
The series was created by David E. Kelley and Jonathan Shapiro and follows McBride, a disgraced lawyer who gets a case that could bring him redemption or at least revenge on the firm which expelled him.
“I’m thrilled we get another season to tell Billy McBride’s story. Our latest case tackles a timely global crisis that impacts an entire generation, and we will be adding some exceptional talent to our already amazing cast,” said series executing producer Lawrence Trilling in a statement. “I’m so grateful to everyone at Amazon for their support of the show. Jennifer, Steve, and Geyer have been dream partners, Billy Bob is a constant inspiration, and I’ve been blessed to work with a stellar cast and crew.”
Amazon confirmed the news Thursday.
