Angela Bassett dished out on the Black Panther sequel.
The 61-year-old actress spilled some sequel secrets when she stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
“[It’s] going along. Coming along,” she told host Jimmy. “Amazing, absolutely.”
But the late-night show host was pushing for more details, saying, “You were telling me backstage that they decided to change the costume of Black Panther?” Going along with the joke, Angela quipped, “Jimmy, I was telling you that in confidence. You are now—you did not!”
Bassett plays matriarch Ramonda in the Marvel action feature, which is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2022.
