Angelina Jolie is in talks for her next big screen role. 

Deadline reports that the Oscar-winner is finalizing a deal to star in the Taylor Sheridan-helmed feature Those Who Wish Me Dead. Sheridan will direct the wilderness thriller from a script penned by himself. 

Sheridan has adapted the script from the bestselling novel of the same name by Michael Koryta. The novel follows a young boy, witness to a murder, who is issued a new identity and is hidden in a wilderness skills program for troubled teens.

According to the outelt, the novel is used as a jumping-off point from its big screen adaptation. And all that is known of the plot is that the story is set against a wildfire in the Montana wilderness. No details have been released regarding of Jolie’s character.

Shooting of Those Who Wish Me Dead is scheduled to being in May.
