Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova have managed to keep their relationship under the radar for 16 years! That’s not even the only thing they kept under wraps, they even managed to hide an entire pregnancy and birth of twins!
E! news confirms that the couple became parents to twins over the weekend, a boy and a girl. According to TMZ the twins are named Nicholas and Lucy.
Tennis player Anna, 36, and singer Enrique, 42 met in 2001 on the set the singer’s “Escape” music video. Back then Iglesias said of Kournikova, “Ya, I’m sure a lot of guys want to meet her, you know. I’m one of them. She’s beautiful, talented, great tennis player. And I’m sure she’s going to be great in the video.” Since then it was speculated that the two dated and even tied the knot but that was never confirmed by the couple.
Today the two live a very private life on a private island in Miami Beach. Even when interviewing with the media, the two managed to steer clear of addressing their private life. Back in 2010 when she was spotted with a huge rock on her ring finger Anna simply said, “Well, we’ve been together for over eight years….” In 2014 the singer did talk marriage and children with Access Hollywood.
”I don’t think it [marriage] would make me any happier. I’m not against it by any means. Yes, kids at some point, I would,” Enrique explained. “Hopefully the day that I have kids I can lay back a bit and not travel as much and not be touring as constantly. I don’t want to be on the road for six or eight months and then come back and not recognize my own child.”
The two recently shared a few snaps from their Miami vacation on Instagram ahead of the twins’ reported arrival, from the same boat with Anna wearing a jacket with Enrique’s name on it.
