Annette Bening is in talks to join 20th Century Fox’s adaptation of Death on the Nile.
Per Deadline, the first to report the news, should the four-time Oscar nominee join the project she will play Euphemia in the Kenneth Branagh-directed feature.
The film is a follow-up to Branagh’s 2017 Agatha Christie adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express. Adapting the screenplay based on the 1937 fiction book is Michael Green
Already on the call sheet are Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Tom Bateman, Letitia Wright as well as Branagh, who will be reprising his role as detective Hercule Poirot.
Death on the Nile is set for an October 2020 debut.
