It has been a whirlwind of a year for Ariana Grande, but she is ending it on a high note.

Grande has officially dethroned Selena Gomez as Spotify’s most streamed artist worldwide. She officially nabbed the title Friday, November 30. According to Billboard, Grande reached the Spotify milestone after surpassing the mark of 46.9 million monthly listeners, overtaking Gomez for the No. 1 spot.

The 25-year-old singer took to social media following the news, and tweeted, “Sheesh. thank u.”

This exciting milestone joins another record broken by the singer. Grande literary broke YouTube as she dropped her highly anticipated music videos, for her single “Thank u, Next.’ The single officially became the platform’s most viewed video in 24 hours accumulating 46 million views more than the previous record holder K-pop group BTS, who accumulated 45.9 million views for their Idol music video in August.
