Despite last year’s drama, Ariana Grade will take to the stage at the 2020 Grammy Awards.

The “God Is a Woman” singer and The Recording Academy have put the past behind them announcing that 26-year-old Grande will perform at this year’s Grammys.

“OFFICIAL: #ArianaGrande will perform at the #GRAMMYs Jan. 26,” The Recording Academy announced on their official Instagram account. Grande also took to Twitter to confirm the news writing “see you jan 26,” alongside a pic of herself with the writing “Grammy Performer.”

Following last year’s ordeal, where Grande opted not to attend or perform, she took to Twitter to share her side of the story.

“It was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you, that i decided not to attend. i hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more.”

She continued: ”i offered 3 different songs. it’s about collaboration. it’s about feeling supported. it’s about art and honesty. not politics. not doing favors or playing games. it’s just a game y’all.. And i’m sorry but that’s not what music is to me.”
