“Avengers: Infinity War” Trailer Sets Record For Most Views in 24 Hours

Looks like there’s no-one who could stop watching the Avengers: Infinity War trailer! The first trailer for the upcoming Marvel blockbuster broke records racking up more than 200 million views in just 24 hours, setting a new record for most trailer views in a single day.

The trailer debuted Wednesday morning earning 230 million views in its first day. This viewership record bumps It from its first place with 197 million views when the first trailer dropped earlier this year. The records before that belonged to The Fate of the Furious with 139 million views.

The trailer for one of the most ambitious blockbusters of all times was hugely anticipated as Marvel’s build up towards Infinity War over the past years was big.

The trailer finds the tyrannical Thanos (Josh Brolin) making his way to Earth in search of the powerful Infinity Stones. The first footage also shows some of Marvel’s biggest heroes — including Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and Spider-Man (Tom Holland) — as they team up to take Thanos down.

Avengers: Infinity War opens in theaters on May 4, 2018.
