‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Stars Evan Bass and Carly Waddell Are Married

Evan Bass and Carly Wadell have tied the knot at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta resort near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, on Saturday. The couple, who got engaged during the third season of the reality series, were joined by some fellow members of Bachelor Nation, according to ET.

Host Chris Harrison officiated the ceremony in a beach-side reception, surrounded by friends, family and fellow reality stars such as Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert, Shawn Booth and Kaitlyn Bristowe, Ashley Iaconetti and her ex, Jared Haibon, and twins Emily and Haley Ferguson, who both competed for Ben Higgins’ love on season 20 of The Bachelor.  Latest Bachelor star Nick Viall and his fiancée, Vanessa Grimaldi, were also in attendance.

Bass, who has three sons from a previous relationship, shared a sweet snapshot to his Instagram account on the morning of his wedding day, showing two swan-like towels kissing each other, the other one wearing a veil with rose petals strewn across the floor.

The couple sat down with ET in January, and they talked about life after their whirlwind TV romance.

“I was really nervous going home after Paradise because I was like, ‘What is my life going to be like? Are the kids going to like me?'” Waddell shared. “It’s just been so easy. The boys were so kind to me from the moment I met them, and it’s gotten better and better and better. We all really love each other.”

“I think that relationship wise, we’re definitely more in love than we ever were before. I think we fall more for each other every day, which is fun. It was always good, [but] it’s just that as we got to know each other better and better, we fell for each other even harder. We’ve never had a bad spell. It’s always been consistently good,” Waddell said last April.

The couple’s luxurious ceremony was covered by video cameras. A source told ET that the wedding was originally intended to be aired as part of Bachelor in Paradise season 4, before production was suspended due to alleged sexual misconduct between contestants DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios.

According to TooFab, Bass and Waddell’s wedding will be aired on ABC later this year. The air date is yet to be announced.
