Bad Bunny made quite a splash with his latest album Debí Tirar Más Fotos, and he’s getting credit where credit is due. He soared to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with his new album, narrowly beating Taylor Swift’s Lover: Live From Paris by just 1,000 units.
With 203,500 equivalent album units earned, Debí Tirar Más Foto soared to No. 1 during its first full tracking week, but the race for No. 1 has been pretty tight. Taylor Swift’s Lover: Live From Paris came in second with 202,500 equivalent album units, just 1,000 units behind Bad Bunny’s latest.
Debí Tirar Más Fotos owes its success to impressive streaming numbers, and it managed to score the largest streaming week for a Latin album since Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti. The Puerto Rican superstar also managed to hit No. 1 with El Último Tour Del Mundo and Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana.
Debí Tirar Más Fotos was released on January 5, and it produced a total of 17 brand-new tracks, including singles “El Clúb”, “Pitorro de Coco”, and “Baile Inolvidable”. Bad Bunny will promote it with a 30-day residency at Coliseo de Puerto Rico, and he sold out all 400,000 tickets in just four hours.
