Barry Manilow, aged 73, came out as a homosexual and — wait for it — secretly married!
Manilow and his manager Garry Kief married in 2014, but they met nearly 40 years ago – in 1978 – and started a romance soon.
According to People magazine, the singer wanted to keep his sexuality a secret so he wouldn’t “disappoint” his female fans.
The wedding was held in April 2014 in Palm Springs, California. Though rumors about this have been going around for some time, this is the first time Manilow has confirmed them.
