Despite the cancelation of the SXSW Film Festival, Apple TV+ is going forward with the scheduled TV rollout of its Beastie Boys documentary.

The streamer has debuted the official trailer for Beastie Boys Story, the docu-film from Spike Jonze about the New York trio of rappers.

The official synopsis reads: “Mike Diamond and Adam Horovitz tell you an intimate, personal story of their band and 40 years of friendship in this live documentary experience directed by their longtime friend and collaborator, and their former grandfather, filmmaker Spike Jonze.”

“There are some friends you have lunch with so many times over the years, you know their order,” Horovitz and Diamond said in a statement earlier this year. “Spike is one of those friends. And even when you don’t recognize anything on the menu, he comes up with something good for the whole table. Like when we wondered what to do when our book comes out… then Spike placed his order: You will put on a show for the children.”

Beastie Boys Story will be available to stream on Apple TV+ April 24.
