Beastie Boys are marking the special anniversary with the release of rare EPs.
Fans will be treated to the first-ever digital release of six rare EPs in celebration of the 30th anniversary of their LP Paul’s Boutique.
The EPs released over the news two weeks will feature materials from the era of the hip-hop trio’s 1989 seminal sophomore album.
The EPs feature a mix of live tracks, outtakes, remixes, and songs from the LP itself. Already out are An Exciting Evening At Home With Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego and the Love American Style EP. July 26 will see the release of EPs featuring remixes of “Shadrach” and “Hey Ladies,” while EPs containing remixes of “Looking Down The Barrel Of A Gun” and “Shake Your Rump” are due out August 2.
The band consisting of Michael “Mike D” Diamond, Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz and Adam “MCA” Yauch marked the 15th anniversary of To the 5 Boroughs with the digital release of 12 rare tracks.
