Bebe Rexha Unveils Confessional Video For Song “I’m A Mess”

If you still haven’t learned Bebe Rexha’s name, the time is now! The Rising star already worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry, but she’s ready to pave her own path. Hit single I’m A Mess is the ultimate proof of her talent and its new video shows she’s here to stay.

Even before the video was released, this trippy tune already had 51 million views on YouTube and 26 million streams on Spotify. The new video has a potential to bring it to a wider audience and it’s literally insane. It takes place inside an old-school Psychiatric hospital and features everything you’d expect from this kind of setting, including sterile white walls and straitjackets. The singer revealed this song is deeply personal and inspired by her own struggles.

“I have been very vocal and honest about my ongoing struggle with anxiety and depression. I wanted to create a video and song that expressed my truth. This video is a celebration of me finally being able to accept my imperfections. I’m okay with not being okay all the time,” said Bebe Rexha.

I’m A Mess is the latest single from her debut album Expectations. Her road to solo stardom was pretty long and she previously collaborated with everyone from G-Eazy to Rihanna.
