Ben Affleck Drops Out of “Triple Frontier” to Focus on Wellness and Family

Ben Affleck won’t be in the Netflix’s Triple Frontier, as he wants to “take some time to focus on his wellness and his family,” as Deadline reported.

Director J.C. Chandor’s movie will continue without Affleck. It’s been in the works since 2009. Paramount Pictures dropped out in April this year, as well as actors Channing Tatum and Tom Hardy. Netflix picked up the project and it was announced Affleck will be in it.

Ben has been working on his personal development hard this year. Back in March, he wrote on Facebook about successful rehab program:

“I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I’ve dealt with in the past and will continue to confront. I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be. I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step.”
