Beyoncé and Jay-Z Drop Surprise Album “Everything Is Love”

Hope you didn’t have plans for Saturday night!

Fans of the music industry’s power couple were happily surprised as Beyoncé and JAY-Z dropped a new joint album on Tidal. 

The duo released the album titled Everything Is Love exclusively and in whole on the music streaming service. The LP is the couple’s first full-length joint release. 

The 36-year-old took to Instagram to tease that something was coming with images of an album cover including that of a woman combing a man’s hair in front of Leonardo Da Vinci’s masterpiece, the Mona Lisa.

She also posted a snippet of a video from the music video for “Apes**t,” which was shot at the Louvre in Paris in May 2018 and directed by Ricky Saiz.

The album opens with a song about romance titled “Summer” that includes lyrics like, “Let’s make love in the summertime, yeah / On the sands, beach sands, make plans / To be in each other’s arms, yeah / I wanna drown in the depth of you / When the water’s so blue, so blue, so blue.”

The couple then delves deep into issues like family, love, and relationships and the work that went into rebuilding their relationship across nine tracks. 

The final track finally tackles what we’ve all been waiting for, “”Yeah, you f–ked up the first time, we had to get remarried,” Beyoncé sings, adding, “We keepin’ it real with these people, right? Lucky I ain’t kill you when I met that b—”
