Beyoncé Makes History with Epic Coachella Performance

Queen Bey has made history as the first black woman to headline the music festival.

After postponing her appearance at Coachella last year due to her pregnancy with twins Sir and Rumi, and after months of speculation of all the surprises Bey has planned for her fans, the Queen Bey served up an epic performance which included Destiny’s Child reunion! The last time Destiny’s Child performed together was during Beyoncé’s 2013 Super Bowl halftime show.

Beyoncé looked fierce as usual with a slew of backup dancers and a full New-Orleans marching band, kicking off her set belting “Crazy in Love.” She was dressed in a custom Balmain cheerleader-inspired gold outfit. During her two hour set, she also sang her greatest hits including “Formation, “Diva,” “Single Ladies,” “Drunk In Love” and more.

About half-way into her set, Beyoncé was joined by her former band members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams and the trio sang “Lose My Breath,” “Say My Name” and “Soldier.”

“Coachella, thanks for allowing me to be the first black woman to headline,” Beyoncé said on stage.

Seems only appropriate that fans have started re-naming the festival #Beychella!
