Beyoncé’s Film Puts “Lemonade” Back on Top

It’s not very common to see albums making it to the top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart years after their release, but that’s what Beyoncé managed to accomplish with her iconic record Lemonade. Her recent concert film Homecoming put this album back on the map – and right on the top of the charts.

Netflix’s film provided an in-depth look at Beyoncé’s iconic performance at the 2018 Coachella Festival, which prominently featured songs from Lemonade. This project, however, isn’t the only reason why Queen Bey’s sixth studio album returned to the top.

Following the release of her new documentary, Beyoncé made this album available on all the major streaming platforms. Spotify and Apple Music users helped it reach the no. 9 spot on Billboard 200 chart three years after its release.

To make the whole thing even better, Lemonade isn’t even her only album featured on the chart. She also made the cut with Homecoming: The Live Album, which rose to no. 4 this week.
