Concert films are all the rage in Hollywood these days, and Beyoncé is getting ready to launch her own. Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé will chronicle the journey she embarked on while bringing this global tour to life, and it’s coming to the theatre near you this December.

Beyoncé followed in the footsteps of Taylor Swift and joined forces with AMC Theatres to make this concert film happen. She produced it through her company Parkwood Entertainment and is expected to receive 50% of box office grosses, just like Swift.

According to its official logline, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé “is about Beyoncé’s intention, hard work, involvement in every aspect of the production, her creative mind and purpose to create her legacy, and master her craft.”

In addition to featuring the footage from Beyoncé’s latest tour, this concert film will also finally give us a glimpse of music videos she recorded for the long-awaited visual album Renaissance, according to Variety.

Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour kicked off in Stockholm, Sweden back in May and it included a total of 56 dates before ending its run in Kansas City, Missouri this Sunday. It made history as the highest-grossing tour by a female artist of all time, in addition to setting the record for the highest one-month gross.
