‘The Big Bang Theory’ Spinoff Incoming

Fans of CBS’s The Big Bang Theory rejoice: Not only was the hit show signed for 2 more seasons, but a new spinoff show, ‘Young Sheldon’ centering around Jim Pearson’s character Sheldon Cooper’s quirky childhood as 9-year old boy attending a Texas high school.

The main role will be played by Iain Armitage (I’m Not Here, Big Little Lies), while Pearson himself will narrate the chronicles of the future theoretical physicist. The young Sheldon’s parents will be played by Zoe Perry (The Family) and Lance Barber (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia).

Little Sheldon will begin production this month and is set to premier during the 2017-18 TV season in the US.
