Bobby Farrelly and Peter Farrelly cast Bill Murray, and more to star in their forthcoming Quibi series.
The Farrellys have added the Academy Award nominee ton their series The Now. Dave Franco, O’Shea Jackson Jr., and Daryl Hannah are also among the actors cast as the main cast. Alyssa Milano who will appear in a recurring role and Jimmy Tatro, Rob Yang, and Lex Scott Davis round out the cast.
The short format series directed by the Farrellys follows Ed Poole (Franco), a man who resolves to “just live in the now” when a secret from his past emerges and seemingly destroyed his future.
Further plot and character details are still being kept under wraps.
The Now was co-written by Peter Farrelly, Steve Leff, and Pete Jones.
Quibi is set to launch on April 6, 2020, and will feature “quick bites” of content running 10 minutes or less.
