Billy Bob Thornton’s Drama “Goliath” Renewed for Season 3

We’ll get to see Billy Bob Thornton on Amazon Prime Video in 2019 as well. The streaming service just announced that Thornton’s drama Goliath is getting renewed for season three, which is set to premiere next year.

Goliath follows a disgraced lawyer, Billy McBride (Thornton), who manages to land the case that might be his only opportunity to get redemption.

The series premiered in 2016 and met with positive reactions from both the critics and Amazon Prime Video subscribers. “Our Prime Video customers loved the first two seasons of Goliath, and I’m excited we can bring them a new season of this sharp and surprising legal drama,” said Vernon Sanders, co-head of television at Amazon. “We have an incredible array of stars joining Billy Bob and the Goliath cast, and fans will be thrilled to see what’s in store for season three.”

The upcoming third season of this legal drama will see several new additions to the existing cast including Dennis Quaid, Amy Brenneman, Beau Bridges, Griffin Dunne, and Sherilyn Fenn.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the third season will see Billy McBride “taking a case in the drought-stricken Central Valley where he comes face-to-face with a new Goliath: a billionaire rancher (Quaid) and his sister (Brenneman).
