Billy Eichner is ready for some romance.
A new romantic comedy starting Eichner is in the works with Nick Stoller set to direct and Judd Apatow producing. Eichner will also co-write the screenplay with Stoller. Stoller will also co-produce under his Global Solutions banners alongside Apatow.
The comedian and American Horror Story star tweeted Tuesday “Excited, terrified, completely in shock and PROUD as hell to announce this movie. We’re making a big, new romantic comedy for Universal!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!”
The still untitled comedy will center around two men who have commitment problems and are attempting a relationship.
Eichner is currently developing his first comedy special for Netflix. His other credits include Friends from College and Billy on the Street for which he was nominated for an Emmy three times.
