Bob Odenkirk to Star on “The Simpsons”

The Better Call Saul star is going yellow!

Bob Odenkirk is bringing his legal expertise to The Simpsons. Yep, that’s right, Odenkirk will stay true to his on-screen roots and is set to make a guest voice appearance in season 31 of Fox’s iconic animated series.

Odenkirk will voice a shady lawyer with slippery interpretations of the law in an episode written by series co-executive producer Bill Odenkirk — that’s right, his brother. His character is a mob lawyer, who may even represent Fat Tony.

“He charges by the minute so he speaks… really… slowly,” says Simpsons executive producer Al Jean of the character. “He just wants money for talking to Fat Tony.”

According to Entertainment Weekly, the episode involves sting operation and the Simpsons patriarch. “Homer is the mark because he’s got such a big butt so he’s a good target for pickpocketing,” explains Jean. “Fat Tony is arrested but he didn’t do it — and he has to find out who did do it.”

Hope’s that the episode is to the Odenkirk family’s liking because, “If we don’t get a good review from Mama Odenkirk, then we’re going to be in trouble,” added Jean.

Season 31 of The Simpsons debuts in September.
