The Season 5 trailer for Bojack Horesman has finally dropped and we’ve never been more buzzed for a show which makes us so depressed.
The short trailer shows that Hollyhock will be back which is great for us but unfortunate for her as she will probably end up being roped into Bojack’s mess. Bojack, our mid-life crisis protagonist is now starring in the new show, ‘Philbert,’ and continues to battle his recurring demons.
“You say you want to get better and you don’t know how”, Dianne declares three times throughout the teaser. There’s more drinking, more depression and it’s looking less and less likely that Bojack will ever get his happy ending but hey, that’s Hollywood.
The upshot of the trailer is that it suggests that Bojack’s problems this season will be more adventurous and less existential. He seems to be caught up with some crime related happenings and the question that plagues him of whether he is a bad person might become a little more black and white and less of a mopey grey area.
We have lots of questions we want answered in the new season. Will Mr Peanut Butter and Dianne make amends? Will Princess Caroline find love? What is Todd up to?
The good news is we only have to wait until September 14.
And by the way Dianne, we love the new hair.
