Vince Gilligan is getting ready to write a new chapter of Breaking Bad story – and it’s going to be a movie this time around. A feature-length film, based on the cult series, is in development by the mastermind who wrote the original.
Not much is known about this upcoming project, and it’s still unclear which form it’s going to take. We’re yet to find out if it’s going to screen in the theaters or just be available for streaming, but fans are going to tune in any way.
It also hasn’t been announced if a new movie is going to take a look into the past or serve as a continuation of the story we all know and love. We already got prequel of sorts with Better Call Saul, so it’s likely they’re going to explore some new horizons this time around.
According to the Albuquerque Journal, the Breaking Bad film will start shooting under the working title Greenbrier and track the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom. The shooting should kick off in mid-November in the Duke City and run through early February.
