Bridgerton is one of the most beloved shows returning to Netflix next year, and we finally know when we’ll get to see it in the flash. The new teaser trailer drops hints about the period drama’s next chapter, including its highly-anticipated release date.

Netflix decided to build even more hype for the show’s third season by splitting it into two parts, the strategy they recently tested with the final season of The Crown. The first four episodes will arrive on May 16, 2024, followed by another four on June 13, 2024.

Based on Romancing Mister Bridgerton, the fourth novel in Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series, the upcoming season will shift focus on Colin Bridgerton and his longtime friend Penelope Featherington.

After realizing her crush on Colin isn’t leading her anywhere, Penelope decides it’s time to let her childish dreams go and find herself a husband. When her plans go horribly wrong, Colin decides to help her out in an attempt to repair their friendship, but his attempts to teach her how to gain confidence start working a little too well.

In addition to Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton as Penelope and Colin, Season 3 will also star Adjoa Andoh, Jonathan Bailey, Claudia Jessie, Golda Rosheuvel, Luke Thompson, Polly Walker, Simone Ashley, and Julie Andrews as the voice of Lady Whistledown.
