Brittany Snow to Star in Fox’s Drama Pilot

The Pitch Perfect star has just landed her next television gig.

Brittany Snow has been cast as the lead in the Fox drama pilot based on the Australia series Sisters. The still untitled project hails from Annie Weisman and Jason Katims. Weisman will write and executive produce the pilot and Katims will exec produce.

The series follows only child Julia Bechley (Snow) as her life is turned upside down when she reveals that her father, a pioneering Nobel Prize-winning fertility doctor, used his own sperm to conceive dozens of children over the course of his career. Julia discovers that among her dozens of newly discovered brothers, she has only two new sisters — her former best friend and an ex-Olympic athlete.

Australian series Sisters starred Maria Angelico as Julia and premiered its seven-episode first season in October 2017. Sisters was then launched on Netflix in September 2018.
