Policemen in France wish that all of their cases were as open-and-shut as this one: A man was struck with a brilliant idea of robbing a shop, grabbed a hammer and smashed a hole in the window. The 46 year old, drunk at the time, did not think his plan out thoroughly however and became stuck – half in and half out – in the glass window, leaving officers all the evidence they need. The incident occurred in the Pyrenees town of Mauleon-Licharre, southwest of the country.
The police department tweeted the above photo documenting the less-than graceful burglars attempt, adding further embarrassment to his humiliation with the hashtag #thuglife.
