Camila Cabello took the world by storm with her hit single Havana, and she’s currently reaping the fruits of her labor. The young singer just swept four shiny statues at this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards, easily beating all the other artists.
The former Fifth Harmony singer dominated in all the major categories, including best artist, best video and best song. She also picked up the award for best US act and thanked all of her fans for voting and helping her out to score a big victory.
“I remember when I was 14-years-old watching these shows, waiting for my favorite artists to come on. I know how special that bond is between a fan and their favorite artist and I know how special that bond is between a fan and an artist,” said Camila Cabello.
None of the other nominees came even close to her success. Nicki Minaj came in second with two awards for the best look and the best hip-hop act, while the rest of the winners only picked up one award.
This year’s MTV Europe Music Awards ceremony was hosted by Hailie Steinfeld and it took place in Bilbao, Spain.
